01 / Overview

About the project

goRute plans trips across Greater Jakarta's public transport network, combining TransJakarta, KRL, MRT, LRT, walking and motorbike taxis, and ranks the results as fastest, cheapest or easiest.

A Go API talks to an OpenTripPlanner routing engine built from GTFS and OpenStreetMap data, with an OpenAPI contract that generates the TypeScript client for the React PWA and its MapLibre map.
